Raining in England...again...finally!

Yesterday Ben and I went to Birmingham for the day. His mate Robert Vidler (aka Vid) goes to Uni up there so it was a 'go up there and shop and wander around until we find out if we can hang out with Vid' sort of thing.

Ben made pancakes for breakfast. He LOVES pancakes. I'm still surprised Ben can cook and clean up after himself and what not. Never let a boy who cooks and cleans get away, so I'm taking as many pictures of it while I can.
Then Ben drove us to Selly Oak, parked near Vid's old flat then walked to the train station and took a ride (only about 3 stops) into the city--Birmingham. Here's us on the short train ride:
The station (and partially the city) kind of reminded me of New York. The Station at Birmingham was REALLY big and had several lines that connected to it since it was a central station. Then there were long staircases going up to the surface level. And when the surface popped up we were in a large shopping mall area with tall buildings and loads of shops.

We went to a comic book shop. Two levels, comic books, action figures, DnD, Sci-fi novels, Anime, Manga, etc...loads of stuff. Seriously this place was geek heaven. And Russ and I were running around looking at everything. This is the place:
Really good stuff. Evidentally Ben's friend Rudd found it and took them there one time while they were in Brum.

We also went into a clothing shop where I took these pictures:
The one of Ben I took for Adam...inside joke/yeeeeeaaaah.....haha

We eventually got a text from Vid saying that he's in rehearsals all day and then has a play to do at night so he couldn't hang out. So Ben and I just wandered around, going from shop to shop and wandering around this HUGE place looking at things. I found some interesting bits and landscape and things to take pictures of.....
(Pretty looking Catherdral/building/church thing)
(It's a Mini Cooper Chia Pet!!!!!)

(Another building, and a huge courtyard type thing)

C'mon.....you didn't REALLY think I wouldn't show up one of these days with a picture of me in a traditional British phone Box, did you?

After that it started PISSING down rain. It was REALLY heavy. You can't really tell in the picture of Ben, but you can definately tell with the close up picture of me:
After the rain and the cold, we wandered for a bit more, then I got a baguette sandwich, then we headed back to the train, rode back to Selly Oak, walked back to the car and drove home.

When we got home, we had dinner and then Ben made me watch his new Resident Evil movie(Degeneration, the animated one) which he bought while we were out. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't my cup of tea.

That's all for yesterday.

THE DAY--A breakdown

Yesterday was fun and full of action--well for me at least.

THE TALK:
Ben and I had a talk. ^^ It made me happy cause I've now established the fact that A) Ben really does love me and B)He's afraid of being romantic with me becuase he knows I just have to leave eventually anyway. So...nice talk. Jenny is all better and not moody anymore. :D

THE KITTIES:
Basically since I've been here the russels have been telling me that one of their Cats had kittens but they never really knew where they were. Well, they FOUND the kittens and Ben and Kate took me to go see the kitties. First Ben did....We climbed behind this wall and up onto the roof of a barn or something and looked down towards a crack in the ajacent barn to see a little kitten poking it's head out of the fence.

I stayed up on the roof and talked to it for a while, then took this picture:
Yes I know, I'm weird...and I had some Cider that day already as well. Don't hate me cause I'm having fun and dancing on rooftops!

Then when Kate took me back to the kitties(for their 'tea' or dinner) she left me to see them after she put down food in a little bowl. The mother(Abbey) came out for food, then the little kittens followed as well. I feel really bad though because I went down to pet one of the little kittens (the one shown above actually) and I scared it. It feel backwards into a hole and scrambled back into the barn where all the kittens hide. I frightened the kitten. :( it's gonna be really hard to gain that kitten's trust back. :(

THE FRISKY ONE and THE LAZY ONE:
I took pictures of me and Ben just hanging out in his room, because he was making funny faces and making me laugh:
THE FIRE:
One of the things that is unusual for me is seeing Ben take out the trash....and burning it. Since they're on a farm and they work with alot of meet and stuff, dead meat and other stuffs gets really smelly so instead of having a regular trash collection they burn their trash out in the top of one of their lower feilds. Pictures....now:
THE END:
We had dinner as per usual and then watched The Water Boy on TV and went to bed. Now we're off to Birmingham for the day!

Ciao!

Sunday, July 5, 2009

Yesterday was less than pleasing. I had a meltdown halfway through the day and I had alot to think about before Ben got home. 5 hours worth in fact.....but half of that time I had friends who were online for me to talk to.

I eventually took a walk from about 5pm-6pm and cooled down. I came back to Home Farm to find Ben already home. He evidentally didn't get to bed until 4am, and then had work yesterday morning so he was WELL tired by the time he got home.

We cuddled a bit, but I didn't really get to talk to him like I wanted to. So.....I saved that talk for another day(possibly today?) But to be honest I got REALLY depressed when he went to bed and I didn't talk to Ben. So I downed a scrumpy jack and took a walk (at 10:45) and got back at about 11pm, watched a movie and went to bed.

I know I'm being really vauge in this entry about what's bugging me, but *shrugs* I'll give you the full details some day. I just can't put it up here...now. So ask me about it later and I might tell. Just don't worry about me now, no harm...just my mind pulling riddles on me again.

That's it for now,

A Day with the Puffs

Yesterday was quite fun. I woke up a little later than I expected too (10am instead of 9am) and messaged Adam who was in Tenbury. He said he'd come pick me up and we'd hang out. ^^ YAY! I don't have to sit bored all alone at home waiting for Ben to come home!

So Adam came over, then we drove back to Tenbury and I gave him some money for petrol and we filled up. We went to McDonalds for a bit for lunch, and then to Sainsbury's to visit Chris and get some food for later. While we were about town I took some pictures. Here's the gay bar that Adam DJs at on Saturday Nights:
When we were actually in Worchester we could pick up signal for Youthcomm radio so we listened to that as we drove about town.
Then we got to Adam and Chris' flat....I met their Polish flatmate who eats their expensive food (sadness :( probably explians why he's a bigger slobbier fellow....no consideration) and one of their neighbors who was really nice. She, the neighbor(I never caught her name), stayed over for a bit...we chatted, and Adam and I cleaned up parts of the house, until Adam and I had to go pick up Chris from work at 4pm.

We picked Chris up, drove back to their flat and had a laugh for a bit before dinner. Chris put his work hat on me:
He works in the bakery section of the super market and they have to wear these hats for hairnets it looks like.

Anyways....Chris made dinner for Adam, myself, the neighbor(who came over again for a bit), and himself.
(For the record it was REALLY REALLY HOT....and Adam just liked taking his shirt off and playing with soap bubbles and not washing dishes). Anyways, after dinner we talked, watch a bit of TV, then Adam went out to clean his car and I borrowed Adam's phone to ring Ben since it was about 6pm and he would be getting home about then.

I couldn't get a hold of Ben right away which made me sad cause I missed him, but then he rang back and I got to talk to him for a bit. I left him a note saying that I was out with Adam, but I thought I'd call to talk to him for a bit. He's not too talkative and I never know when he cares or not, but when I talked to him he sounded at least a little disappointed that I wasn't there for him to come home to. :/

After a while of mucking about Adam and Chris and I went down the road to see Chris' family. Chris' family was interesting.....he had a full house there. His 18 year old sister....and her boyfriend were there. Then there was his mum(nice lady), his dad(reminds me of Frank from Shameless), his littler sister (about 12-13 it looked like), his dad's best friend, and Chris's little brother (who's 8 years old). Quite an interesting group.

It was quite cute though and funny to hear...his little brother came up to me and asked, 'Are you the girl from Hannah Montana?' Which as confirmed the fact that I look like Emily Osment (the blond best friend on Hannah Montana as it were). It was an interesting little bit of yesterday.

Anyways, Chris said happy brithday to his mum. Chris' dad trying to help Adam with his broken windsheild whipers on Adam's car and I just mucked about until Adam had to leave for Youthcomm.

Adam took me with him to Youthcomm radio(his friday night radio spot) and had me on the show.
It was interesting to see the workings of Adam on the radio....when in the studio, but it was more of a talk show between him and 'Chris Swan' (the lady who looks after things there it seems). For a while now Adam and Chris has had this segment on the show called 'twitter update' where Chris comes in and reads out what people have posted on the www.twitter.com website. It's a bit of a shit segment because it turns into just Chris and Adam talking like they would in read life...just on the air.
Personally I liked it better when Adam's show was a dance music program and not a 'talk show'. :( But, it was fun to go into the studio, say something on the air and listen to about 4 dance tunes in the hour slot he has.
After Youthcomm, we went to the flat again for a bit, had a pint with Chris, then I got my stuff and then Adam started the car to drive me home again. It was about 10pm-ish when we left and I called Ben to let him know we were on our way. He was going to bed, which of course made me sad again because that means I wouldn't get to see him for 48 hours straight. :(

So, i had another cider and eat my feelings through tea biscuts that I'd bought earlier. Adam talked to me about Ben and other stuff on the drive home, and we took the long way around cuase I didn't want to go home to no Ben when I really needed a cuddle. Eventually, Adam needed to stop along the way and have a ciggy, so we sat in the parked car for a bit and he held me until I felt better. Gay best friends are always good for comfort. Yay Adam.

When I got home it was really hard manuvering in the house since it was dark and I didn't want to wake anyone, but fortunately someone left the back light on for me and I got into the house and into bed alright.

--------------------------------------------------
I had a few weird dreams that night.
1-I had a dream that I got home and Ben was coming out of his downstairs room, fully awake, walks towards me, gives me a hug and suggested that I sleep in his bed with him, so we could just fall asleep next to each other, cuddling.
2-i had another dream that Adam and Chris weren't going to Corwall this weekend so they called Ben's mobile, which I had for some odd reason, and wanted me to go clubbing. But then I fell asleep on the couch/sofa waiting for them to come pick me up.

That's all for now.

The Legend, The Pints, and the Adventure

THIS...is DMAN--legend.

Yesterday was an interesting sort of day. Ben went to get his back/shoulder fixed by going to the Doctor's around 11am. After he got home about 12:30 we left to go meet up with DMAN who wanted to see Transformers 2. The film was eh...but getting there was more interesting.

The film started at 1:15pm. We meet DMAN at his house at about 1pm. Then drove another half an hour behind a very slow lorry to Worchester. Then paid for parking...then walked another I don't know how many minutes to the theatre which was a while aways down the shopping centers....when we finally got to the theatre it was 1:50pm so we missed it by ALOT (given that Ben says they let people in att 1:15, silence for 10 minutes, and previews for about 20minutes.

So, we gave up and walked a different way back towards the car....but then we came across a small dinky little movie theatre (with only 5 theatres) that was playing Transformers as well and the movie didn't start until 1:5opm. So we were only about 5-10minutes late. We got in....and the movie just barely started. So....we settled in and only had to worry about putting enough money in for parking.

Let me explain a little better how the parking system usually works here.....You park in a lot, then you walk over to this machine. You type in your registration number. Then you insert money (they have a sign above the machine that says: 'Less than 1 hr.....0.60 pence / 2 hours.....£1.30 / 3 hours.......£3.70' or something like that up to 5-6 hours or sometimes 'all day parking'). Then after you insert the money you push a button and out despenses a ticket that says when your time is up and how much you paid for the ticket as well as other things. Every hour (supposedly) a cop/patrol type person I guess walks around the lot and checks to see that all the times are still valid and have not passed.

We watch the film, then we hurriedly walked back to DMAN's car to see if he got ticketed. That was at about 4:27 and the ticket expired at 4:30pm....but we kept telling DMAN 'It's not like they're gonna patrol RIGHT when your ticket is supposed to be up...it's a very very small chance that it would happen'. And it didn't. The car was safe and sound with no patrol around. I've never seen one of those guys so far...i think they're a myth.

Anyway....after that we drove back into Tenbury, went to the pub (The Crow), and had a drink. As far as I could tell...the minute or 2 we were inside, before going to an outside table....the Crow was nice. Clean place, seemed friendly atmosphere, people talking. I think that's my pub standard so far.

Yeah, so....after a pint...ONE pint of Scrumpy Jack(Medium Dry Cider probably anywhere from 5% to 8%)this was me:
Plus the wind was in my face. haha....Then we walked next door to the same place where Ben and I got pizza before....and got another pizza for each of us and DMAN got some chips. I walked down the street to an ATM while they waited for the pizzas to be made (which only takes about 10minutes here because they have magical stoves that are ALWAYS heated up--yay furnacetype things), took that picture, came back, sat myself on Ben's knee....and waited for pizza to be ready.

After we got the pizzas, we drove down the road to another Pub:
I had another pint.....and then I was like this:
And Ben was just like this....

Ben is completely cool--and I was GONE! It didn't help the fact that I was tired to begin with but my perseption was DEFINATELY off there. It was quite funny to laugh at myself and watch the boys taking joy in how drunk i was just off of 2 pints. but, I sat there, made some comments, drank my cider and ate my pizza...then about 7pm, we drove back to DMANs house said goodbye and went home.

Ben made me come swim with him in the pool after we got back to Home Farm because A) he said I needed to sober up. B) it was hot. So we went swimming......then I got tired and went inside and we watched TV the rest of the night.

That's all the news. Please....don't lecture me--I'm on vacation. :P

Panda Bears--a dying breed

Yesterday, I woke up to the SCREAMS and YELLS of Kate and Ben's Mum...it was lovely. haha I just laughed, rolled over and went back to sleep (as much as I could). I was told later, by Ben, that the screaming I heard came from the OPPOSITE side of the house from where I was. Therefore, Ben got to hear all the lovely screaming at pretty much full force. Brilliant. *sarcasim*

Well, when the screamers had all gone, I woke up to find Ben coming through my bedroom door. The night before I told him, 'just wake me up when you get up and we'll figure out when to leave'((we had planned to go to Bath and Stourhead yesterday.)) Ben came in, sat on my bed((...I looked at the time it was 10:30am at least...which means--I slept in again, but it didn't matter because.....)), then Ben told me that he'd messed up his shoulder. My poor Panda Bear was hurt. :(

So instead of driving anywhere...we stayed home. I can completely understand because when I messed up my back at school i couldn't even MOVE without it feeling like I was being attacked by a pack of Cavemen with really REALLY sharp spears, digging into my back. It HURT. ANd by the way Ben was walking....well, seemed like he was in alot of pain too.

So we sat around, watched TV, I took down and hung up some more laundry, Ben played Resident Evil(video game, mom), and the day went on. I made Ben some lunch. I insisted that he not move from the couch and make himself feel worse by getting up and down alot. So, I made him and myself some lunch and cleared dishes and whatnot.

I tried giving him a message a few times and then insisted that he take some IB Profin (and later when his mum got home, she put some --what would be our Hot n Cold or Bengay--on him).

What else.....we went for a swim midday. That actually helped his shoulder hurt less cause of the water and yeah....so that was a bit fun. Ben stupidly tired to swim through the rungs on the ladder inside the pool....Result=his back got all red and scrapped up. *shakes head* Thankfully the worst damage was an abrasion about the size of a quarter on his left shoulder. Still, I insisted to him that he needed to get out and not fill his scrape with clorine and other stuff that might be found in the pool.

Just as we were getting out of the pool Ben's mum and sister came home. I helped Ben's mum put away the shopping and then Ben and I sat down to watch more TV.

And that was pretty much it.... just chilling at home. It made me sad to see Ben hurt--with different things during the day, but hopefully all will be better today. Ben has an appointment to get his back all fixed up today.

Tell you how everything goes tomorrow!

Not Much of A Story Here

Ben was at work again yesterday....I was stuck at home alone again, so I decided to help out with the LOADS of Laundry that was waiting downstairs while I did my own laundry.

Ben came home, we watched TV and he played a bit of Resident Evil before going to bed.

yeah....about the only other interesting thing that happened yesterday was it was sweltering....seriously California Weather followed me here and it's annoying.
